doji ride

Shared by a BacktestingMax trader on 22 Jun 2026, updated 28 Sept 2026

this works because if there is a positive doji (green) there is an 80% chance it goes down and a 90% chance it goes up in a buy and back down to your entry point get in and get out. the max percentage of your stock/amount is 20%. seems like people are not understanding it as i do so ill explain more, you wake up one day get on the market and you see a doji candle (heiken ashi candles make this easier) you wait for the next doji candle and it looks sort of the same but its still a doji candle, buy as soon as it closes (only if it closes as a doji) wait for a clean pull back to sell, a clean pull back is if there is no wicks at the top for sells and no wick on the bottom for buys (shorts and longs). dm me on @imoneymog on Instagram for more questions.

Entry rules

  1. go to the 1-minute marker
  2. find a doji candle
  3. dont enter on your first doji candle
  4. study your first doji candle to see if it goes up or down
  5. after you studied get in and get out on a short or a long which ever your doji went after studying it

Invalidation

  1. make sure entry conditions are met and check list conditions are met

Stop loss and take profit

  1. 1:1 or 1:3

Author's checklist

  1. im on heiken ashi candles (makes it easier)
  2. do entry conditions
  3. one trade per day (if you lost you can do one extra but don't go over that)
